About A Day in Her Shoes
It’s an evening of food, fashion, and fun with friends. Enjoy wine and beverages, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and of course a fashion show!
See the latest spring fashions in motion by Samuel & Co., Envy, Inspire Collections, Walsh Luggage, and Manchester Shoe Salon and hair and makeup by Element5 Spa.
The evening will be highlighted by our guest speaker, Cathy Donaldson and performance by singer, Shania Fillmore. A Day in Her Shoes is a fantastic opportunity to unite with other women to promote positive mental health while supporting a great cause.
Writer. Traveller. Author. Photographer. Cathy Donaldson has donned many titles during her professional career, but most importantly she is a Mental Health Supporter. Anxiety and depression upended her life and led her to the psychiatric ward which she describes in her 2017 self-published memoir, “Caging the Anxiety Monster”. She had to discover new – and create her own – ways to confine the Anxiety Monster and keep it under lock and key. Cathy is native Cape Bretoner, now residing in Moncton with her husband and two daughters. Click here to see Cathy’s bio.
Known to many as “Shania” of YTV’s THE NEXT STAR Season 4 (2011), Shania Fillmore will be our singer for the evening of May 10th. Her latest accomplishment includes becoming the back-up vocalist on the PAN-AM theme song “Together We Are One/Ensemble on est immense”. Now, being back in her hometown of Moncton NB, Shania’s latest project has been for Les Productions Fusions as Musical Director as well as producing/recording dialogue and the show’s star performer/singer.
